Rainbow Designs is kick-starting 2019 by launching a wealth of new products which will be on show for the first time at Toy Fair UK. The Home of Classic Characters is launching over 30 new lines this year featuring both contemporary and classic licensed characters.
Exciting new ranges for 2019 include the beautiful Disney Baby Dumbo, Disney Baby Toy Story and Disney Baby Simba collections featuring super soft plush toys, Ring Rattles and Comfort Blankets.
On show ahead of a second half launch is the new That’s Not My… collection of nursery toys. Based on Usborne’s best-selling series of touchy-feely board books, the new collection features the best-selling characters from the picture books including the Kitten, the Puppy, the Bunny and the Monkey, as well as some of the newer characters. The collection includes soft toys and developmental attachable blankies.

This year is the milestone 50th anniversary for Eric Carle’s classic storybook character The Very Hungry Caterpillar and to mark the occasion Rainbow is launching the Tiny and Very Hungry Caterpillar collection of nursery toys and essentials. In addition, Rainbow is unveiling a colourful and cuddly Keepsake Made with Love Very Hungry Caterpillar created from knit fabric with a homespun feel.
Also joining Rainbow’s portfolio of classic characters is the beautiful new Spot collection, launching just ahead of Spot’s 40th anniversary in 2020, which includes plush, developmental toys, on the go toys and activity toys.
Retailers can also look forward to the exciting arrival of a brand new My First Thomas & Friends nursery range, previewing at Toy Fair and launching later this year, as well as key additions to the Classic Winnie-the-Pooh ‘Hundred Acre Wood’, Classic Peter Rabbit Nursery and Guess How Much I Love You collections.
