Opening a Trade Account

To open a Trade Account you will need to complete our application form. You can either fill in the form online or print out the PDF, complete it and return it to us by post. If your application is successful you will be contacted with your new account details. Alternatively contact a member of our Sales Team who will be pleased to help.

Terms & Conditions

1. Orders
   Any order accepted by Rainbow Designs Limited (RDL) shall be subject to these terms and conditions of sale. No other terms and conditions shall apply unless expressly agreed in writing by RDL.


2. Prices and Specifications
   Every effort is made to maintain published prices and specifications, however, RDL reserves the right to alter these without prior notice.
   Prices stated exclude VAT which will be charged at the prevailing rate where applicable.

   Orders over £250.00 net – Free of charge
   Under £250.00 net – £9.95
   Parcelforce Next Day Delivery (24hr service)
   All orders £11.50
   Parcelforce Next Day Delivery (10:00am service)
   All orders £18.50
   Goods on back order (from a previously unfulfilled order) are delivered free and we will endeavour to call prior to despatch to check your requirements.

4. Order Processing
   We aim to despatch goods within 5 working days of receipt of confirmed order.
   


5. Delivery
   RDL will endeavour to meet agreed delivery dates and times and will make best efforts to notify customers in good time if these cannot be met.
   Any damaged, faulty or missing goods at the time of delivery must be notified in writing (by mail or fax) to the RDL returns department within 5 days of receipt. Failing this, RDL will accept no liability.
   Every effort will be made by RDL to deliver complete orders, however, when this is not possible part deliveries will be made unless instructed otherwise.
   


6. Returns and Cancelled Orders
   Goods must not be returned unless prior authorisation is obtained from the RDL returns department.
   In the event that goods are returned to our warehouse without quoting a valid Authorised Return Number they will be rejected. RDL does not accept any liability towards shipping costs under these circumstances.
   


7. Risk and Title
   Risk in the goods shall pass to the customer upon receipt.
   RDL retains title in the goods until such time as all monies owed in relation to the goods are paid in full.
   


8. Payment
   Standard terms applicable to credit accounts (unless otherwise agreed in writing) are 30 days net.
   RDL subscribes to the Credit Protection Association and reserves the right to pass information to them concerning overdue accounts.
   RDL reserves the option of exercising their statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under The Late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulations 2002 if not paid within agreed credit terms.
